On the morning of May 12, MacMic Science & Technology Co., Ltd., launched a new R&D project in vehicle-class discrete semi-conductor devices.
Founded in 2006, the company specializes in the design, manufacturing and sales of new-type power electronics. It has developed devices and modules like IGBT, VDMOS and FRD, which are widely applied in the fields of e-vehicles, new energy, industrial control, household appliances, medical equipment and lighting. Most of its products have taken the place of imported devices, with some reaching over 50% shares of the domestic market. Meanwhile, the company has entered the overseas market, with over 500 clients across the world.
In the Phase II project, new plants and laboratories will be built, with a total construction area of 30,000 square meters.
